RV camper - Holiday affordable
An
independent study was conducted on the cost of holidays in a
RV Camper or travel trailer for Canadian families. The study
found that the typical family holiday are up to 75% less per
day compared with other types of travel. Several kinds of
travel were compared and in all cases, the RV vacation is
much more economical than all other types of travel,
regardless of travel time, distance or region of the country
where the holiday were taken
This study confirms what many people already knew for years
now. The cheapest way for families to travel and see
beautiful landscapes in the country's is simply using a RV
camper for travelling.
The comprehensive study, completed by PKF Consulting, took
into account all aspects of travel by recreational vehicle
and all associated costs and other forms of travel,
including the cost of owning an RV. With purchase prices
starting at just $ 6,000, there is a caravan to suit every
budget and lifestyle. This study compared the cost of RV
vacations with two other popular forms of travel, are
driving by car and staying in hotels, and travel by plane
with a car rental with hotel accommodation.
Travel prices were calculated in each region of Canada and
in each case, RV vacations were most effective. Whatever
type of vehicle, the nature of the trip or if it happened in
Canada, vacation trips or recreational vehicle had the upper
hand every time in terms of value, and that by very large
margins.
For example, the average cost per day of vacation for 3 days
camping in Algonquin Provincial Park with a folding camping
trailer was about 41% cheaper than the cost of a vacation by
car with hotel, and about 75% cheaper with a holiday by air
with the hotel.
The average cost per day of camping from 10 days to Quebec
from Halifax with a folding camping trailer was about 51%
cheaper than the cost of a vacation by car with hotel and
about 66% less than the cost of holidays by plane with hotel.
The average cost per day of camping than 3 days in Sturgeon
Falls near Toronto with a RV Type C was about 35% cheaper
than the cost of a vacation with hotel by car, and about 67%
less than the holiday hotel with air.
As summer arrives, the Canadians are coming to increasingly
realize that RV travel is not only a great adventure, fun
and profitable, but is simply a lifestyle that brings more
quality time with family. People who own an RV and spend
more time on holiday knows there is no better way to see
Canada.
